Commercials

A commerical is a communication tool which allows people to see a product, service or message of some kind. The goal is to keep the attention of the viewer long enough to get a message across and have them vest some kind of interest. These commericals are engaging and some will last a long time in your mind.
Some focus on key elements such as drama, humor, and excitment.

Look at these examples from the past to get ideas. This week everyone will post. I am seeing that you all have time to do this, so I will begin to increase the work load. You are all responsible for posting a post on 2 groups videos, then you must reply to 2 posts from either your video or another, lastly you will have to answer each question below and re-post to another student in class. I expect 3 re-posts for this section.












From the videos above which do you think is one that is coming across with a message awareness?
Why do you think this?

Go to you tube and find your  favorite commerical, then share the url: with us and explain why this is one of your favorites? What about this commerical captured your attention?

Now think of a commerical that was horrible? Find it on you tube as well and post it. Be sure to explain why you felt this way and what the url is as well.

    1: I Think the Wendy's commercial comes across with a good message. It gets the message across by making it funny and obvious what is going on.

    - I think the abuse commercial comes across with a strong message the most.
    I think this because it looks like the girls all scared and stuff, because of what happened.

    1.I think the Doritos commercial was the best it got my attention and the message was clear.

    Alyssa I agree with you. The abuse commercial does come across with a strong message. It is powerful how even a 60 second video can get across an important message

    The child abuse had a very strong message. I think this because it's a very touchy subject.

    I like this commmercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWkZ_StRjU0. i liked this because it is helping people that don't want kids to realize what might happen.

    I think this commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3v4nC3iuMo isn't very good. This commercial sucks because it is so cheesy with bad editing.

    David I agree with you Wendy's does have some good beef, beef is always good! I also agree the chuckie guy is very annoying who wants to go there that guy is creepy I don't know who would want that job.

    I agree with you Alyssa. The abusive commercial was very strong and it was bold. This commercial made me aware of how being abused can affect your life in a negative way.

    I think the video about Child Abuse came across with a message. I think this because child abuse is a very important problem.
